Hi Everyone,
I really needed some feedback on the shipping. We have decided to go with the Cash in Lieu option as we didnt have that much stuff and decided to ship few things privately. I dont know if that was a good decision though as it seems very confusing.
I would like to send the shipping off in 3 days time (1 week before our travel dates) so that we dont spend much time without it in the Kingdom. But I have been told by a local release agent in KSA that I cant release it till I get my Iqama. Now that might take anything between 2-8 weeks. More worrying is that I dont want my shipment to be at Dammam Port for 3-4 Weeks.
Has anyone else been in this situation? Can Aramco provide a Name and Shipping Address where we can send this to and he can help us prepare documents and release this irrespective of when I get my Visa Sorted.
Being the weekend and the Saudi Offices closed, I am very confused. Any Feedback would be great.
