Hi,
Has someone recently got their visa stampted in Canada. I have heard several different time frames. My passports have been sent to the relocation coordinator more than 2 weeks ago. In my present role I have to do a lot of International travel but I am stuck right now and it is becoming difficult to explain it to the present employer. Anyone with an expert advice......

You may check Mapleleaf's post under Timeline subjet and Mapleleaf mentioned that it took 45 days for stamping visa...Hope this info will give you some relaxation.

As far as I know, most reasonable countries will give you a second passport, if you travel a lot on business and need to travel while your passport is undergoing visa processing.
According to an answer that I found on another online forum, given by Passport Canada:
There are also posts by people saying that a second passport can be issued if travelling to countries that do not allow entry if you have a stamp from a certain other Middle East country in your passport already, but that may not apply to you.

FYI, our visa was stamped in Ottawa in "ONE" day. The passports are kept with Houston because they want to send a batch not your individual passport to Ottawa Saudi consulate. I had very stringent timelines and I was begging the coordinators because my children might miss schooling because of my notice period.
I was informed that our passports will be sent on friday from Houston to Ottawa and ottawa will receive it on Monday and it will take whenever KSA consulate will like to put a visa.
When I checked my passport, trust me it was stamped on Monday, the day they received it. Aramco has a very special dealing with KSA consulates all across north america. Its just that these are sent in batches by Houston
