Yes has happened. Continue to apply for any position upon are qualified for that is listed on the website. Different groups do look for different skills. Time line very varied.

I did interview in the Talent Quest in February but have heard nothing from Aramco. Would I have received a rejection letter/email if I was completely unsuitable? Does hearing nothing mean I haven't been rejected and should just wait and reapply for the same position?
Do they ever interview again for the same position? I think I really folded under pressure in the Feb interview and answered in such ridiculous and counter-productive ways. So, I'm hoping for a 2nd chance to redeem myself.

You may or may not hear from anyone. You can continue to apply online for any position posted. Sometimes the postings with same position les are with different groups. You might fit one group's needs and not another. They do pass resumes around internally at times, too.
Some have been contacted up to a year later.

I got a walkin interview at the talent quest, but was not among the offers that resulted from that. I kept applying per HR's suggestion. Five months later, I just got invited to interview for one of those postings. Though I wonder what makes me viable now if I was not qualified then. Though I can do the job, I just hope they are serious because its a task to get away from work for this, yet I will try to make it happen. Oddly though, we are less enthusiastic this time, since we adjusted to the reality of the rejection.
