I found in the forum most people mentioned 3 check-in luggage @ 23 kg (50 lb) at the first arrive. However, I just checked the Lufthansa.com, the free baggage allowance for business class is 2 @ 23 kg (70 lb) each. Is this due to the different airline or Aramco will pay for the 3rd one?

Hi,
I have 6 check in items and 3 carry on, total wieght is around 86kg.
The airline gives each passenegr category a weight limit.

Hi Everyone pretty much gets offered the 50kg excess if you choose not to ship. I had 100kg in total for check in (approx 45kg excess), with 4 bags. Best to ring airline and check first what their rules are. I had a domestic leg and an international leg which were on different carriers so had to pay excess twice, however was lucky that I could sweet-talk the supervisor at check in on the international leg to only charge me for 20kg, remember to not mention you're getting reimbursed for the excess ;-) . Don't forget they are quite strict with carry on at times, you could have a relative hold something for you in the background that you don't want the check in desk to see or weigh. Good luck!
