Has anyone gone through the process of filing for financial assistance in selling/leasing your home? We are leasing, and my understanding is that I need to bring a signed lease agreement with an MLA realtor's license number to Dhahran. I then apply for the financial aid once I start working.
Has anyone actually received money for this (if so, how much)?
How long did the process take once in Dhahran?

I was told $9k yesterday at orientation. We will sell. I have been a landlord before and really don't feel equipped to do that a half a world away. A good property manager would be a good way to go.

Per Relocation Guide(page 33), $15,000 if home is sold and $9,000 if home is leased.

We are also in the process of selling our house. My husband was recently hired, but we are still awaiting visas. Could anyone please tell me what the protocol is for making a claim to Aramco once the sale has been finalized. Does the money they offer as compensation for the sale depend on the sale price, or is it fixed?

For the US Payroll,$15k for a home sale and $9k for leasing. Provide a copy of the Realtor lising agreement to your HR Rep when you get here. Actual sale or leasing of the home is not necessary. Fixed amounts. No percentages.

We just did this a few days ago. We have our home for sale in Texas. Had to provide an original signed listing agreement. (with blue ink) 15k once it has been approved.

We will be on the UK payroll, does this offer apply to those outside of America?

Thanks for the replies. Makes us feel comfortable that they actually pay you and in a timely manner. Wouldn't want to go through the whole process if it was a long drawn out struggle with HR.

So do we get paid once our home is sold or if it officially on the market to be sold?

Once it's on the market and they approve the paperwork, you'll get the $$.

We got our $$ this month. The same month we submitted everything, so it doesn't take long. Good luck. Time for me to go shopping...
