May 22, 2012 o, i just had an offer from aramco for GC13 level. i am not sure if it is a good offer given my years of experience and degrees and certifications. I have 21 years experience in the electric industry in USA (utility, consultant, government). i have a MS in EE- energy major. I am Certified Energy Manager cert holder, I am Professional Engineer cert holder in more than one state. how can i know which grade i should get? whats the work load like in the PipeLines and Cmic projects dept? please respons asap before i sign any offer paperwork

Each position has a GC. If you apply and get that position, then that is the GC you should have.

I think most people would say that GC is not (or shouldn't be) the most important factor in deciding whether the job offer is a good one. Except indirectly, insofar as GC has an effect on your salary.
The main things to consider are whether the actual job (responsibilities, duties etc) along with the salary they are offering you, are sufficiently attractive in your eyes.

i have received the offer in May 2012, after the interview in Feb 2012.
it was generous but i didnt accept it for personal reasons that forced me to stay in usa.
i was going to dahran compound. i heard its a great place.
i tried negotiating, but they did not accept my counter offer, and with all the personal stuff i had, i did not take the offer.
