I think....SA require atleast two references (someone to re-confirm) and its up to you if you choose "Yes" to the question where they ask reference check with your existing employer then they have all right to do so.

I was wondering how this BI thingy goes. In my entire career, I worked in 4 places. I am in touch with one of my previous supervisors who can give ARAMCO an excellent reference, and I am good friends with my current supervisor who is also willing to do that for me. But 2 of my ex supervisors are missing. They no longer work where they used to work, and I have no contact details...though I have official reference letters from them.
Any updates and ideas in this regard are highly appreciated.

I'm sure they will just contact your old company's Human Resource person to verify employment, that sort of thing. Don't sweat it.
