o I was interviewed via webex/video conferencing by about a month ago. I am curious how long would it take for ARAMCO to make a decision whether to reject or move forward in my case. I am in no hurry but just curious to get some idea for planning purposes Thank you for reading my post

Each persons timeline is different. There is a discussion group on timelines that will give you current information. Do a search for timelines.
It can be a few weeks to up to and over a year. Patience is the key for coming to work for Aramco.

Hi Yea/Nay, Well yes.. the current situation is a few weeks to over a year+ or maybe never at all. That is what I have discovered from these forums. Myself I have been waiting for months for a bit of feedback promised with in a few weeks after interview. I am curious weather or not it has always been this way at Aramco? If people get jobs after a long wait do they get explanations for the long wait? I would hope its only for the recruitment phase and not part and parcel of work practice in Saudi. If I mention the waiting to people here they pour scorn on the whole thing and talk about frustrations delay and failure. I don’t talk about with people any more. I think it helps if you know some one personally who has gone though the process. Like you I will wait and wait. I don’t hope exactly any more because I believe the time period reflects very badly on the whole enterprise. Non communicating is the bottom rung in my line of work and only ever leads to diminishing returns.

Many times the delays are from people on vacation. One is out, comes back and now the next guy's signature you need is out, so the wait starts again. Other times decisions change on need. Sometimes decisions come from up the administration ladder.
Sorry this is inconvenient for those waiting, but the wait is well worth it for most people.
Things do run differently here. It's a part of the culture. Only you can decide if the wait is worth it for you and your family.

Hi, I have been actually trying to send a message to the moderator, vpainting, but have unable to figure out how to do so. (I am a new member). How can I send a message directly to him? It is in regards to housing.
Thank you, Emily

All I received a call about potential offer and that I need to fill in an application and submit two paystubs. Made me feel better. Just waiting for the final offer yet.
