I have to admit was wrong on this one. I was going on personal experience of the many times I have been to the KFUPM campus. I used to play football (soccer) there on a regular basis, though quite a long time ago now. More recently, we had friends who taught English there and used to go to visit them. On all the occasions I was there and met any students, they were always Saudis.
Having checked however, I found out that the university does allow foreign students of virtually any nationality, to attend.
Having looked at the comments on the link provided by Hadia, it appears not all of the foreign students are over-enamoured of the establishment.

But they also seemed to be very old posts, around 2009. Well, I'll keep looking for more options and hoping my son will agree to it, latter being more challenging :roll: Thanks for taking time to post to my Q. I really appreciate it.
