No, it is not a bad sign. Many have had that experience. Don't get to worried if it takes longer. It is vacation time and it takes time to get all signatures when people are out.

Thanks vpainter for the response above....You said not getting an offer immediately is not a bad sign...and that it could take longer...From your experience, when do you think an applicant should start to worry after the interview without feedback? A month?

A month? I interviewed in March and didn't hear much until May but even then it wasnt a definite. I never got a solid answer/offer in writing until August. So I wouldn't be worrying after a month.

Anyone done interviews in person at the Houston office recently? What's the experience been like? On May 19th, I interviewed in Houston for an HR role. I had my interview at 8:30 am with 4 people that flew in from Saudi Arabia. It was done old-school style... long table with me at the end and the 4 at the other, rapid firing questions at me. Maybe 1-2 minutes of small talk for the 45 minute interview. They even asked me a question I haven't heard in a long time, "why should we hire you over other people?" Recruiter called at 5 pm the same day and said there was positive feedback and for me to send over my current compensation details. I asked where in the offer process I'm at and he said preliminary. I asked about how many roles and people. There were 30 people interviewed that week for 9 roles. It's been a week since I sent over my comp details, but based on what I've read on this forum, that shouldn't be a big deal as there are long waits sometimes. My current timeline: - April 2. Got a random message on LinkedIn from an independent headhunter in the UK for this Aramco role. I was curious and he sent over the Aramco expat details and it was intriguing. - April 19. Interview with the hiring manager and a talent acquisition employee who were based in KSA. It was a short 20 minute interview and I have no idea how it went b/c it was so curt. - April 27, got an email from Aramco Houston to schedule on-site interviews in Houston with 4 people who flew in from Saudi Arabia - May 19, on-site interview in Houston and then later that day, got a call saying there was positive feedback - May 20, sent over my comp details. Although I know the wait is long, I'm not sure they'll give me an offer because my current package is already high and unsure if Aramco would be willing to give a premium over that

Congratulations! Looks like things are moving in the right direction for you. Do you mind sharing your onsite interview experience. How long did the interview last? What sort of questions were asked and did you meet them as a panel or 1x1.
Also how long before your interview date did you receive your travel docs to Houston (here I am assuming you are not a local Houston candidate).
Best of luck for the next stages!!

Pretty old school with a long table and the applicant sitting at the other end. The interview lasted around 50 minutes and it was a mix of behavioral and technical questions related to the subject matter.

Great, thx for the detailed information. Very helpful. I am scheduled for an interview on the 6th for a finance role. Getting a little concerned as they have not provided the travel details yet. Did you get yours closer to the interview date.

Did you get yours closer to the interview date. I wouldn't be concerned about this. They will get it to you before your flight. I received my booking 5 days before the flight.

My timelines are very similar to yours. thank you. So follow up... Although I know the wait is long, I'm not sure they'll give me an offer because my current package is already high and unsure if Aramco would be willing to give a premium over that - June 1, asked recruiter for an update. Radio silence. - June 16, recruiter tells me compensation team is asking for my undergrad and grad diplomas. I sent over grad, but don't have my undergrad diplomas as that was lost. Instead, send in transcript. - June 17, recruiter tells me compensation team will continue to move forward, but for me to order my undergrad diploma anyway even though I told them it'll take 4-6 weeks. So since I was initially recruited by a headhunter, I never applied for the role and so I can't check my status online. So I have no idea if an offer is imminent or if I'm still in the processing stages. Of course, I would love to know b/c I have a wife and toddler and so this move would impact us greatly and I need my wife's full support.

Is it common for Aramco HR to ask for transcripts, licenses, and certifications before the interview takes place?
