o! Been lurking for a couple of days. I have a couple of questions that I couldn't find an answer to in the plethora of topics brought up here (sorry if I overlooked it)
1. How soon did you hear back from Aramco requesting/scheduling an interview after you submitted your resume? 2. Are interviews typically done in person or over the phone? If in person, are they typically in Houston? (We're on the East Coast)
I had a couple of more questions, but I can't seem to have forgotten what they were  , but will be sure to ask as soon as I remember.

I submitted my resume in the beginning of January 2012 and got an email at the end of January from ASC to schedule a interview in Houston. Once the interview was completed I was made an offer about 6 weeks later. Currently I’m going through the relocation process. Hope that helps!

I believe you should expect that your interview will be done in Houston

For our family, four months between online job application and interview (candidate flown alone from Midwest US to Houston for interview). Job offer four days later. Original offer said they wanted us in Saudi Arabia in two months' time. Actually took three months due to contingency clearing stage and our preferred schedule.

The process varies a lot. It took a month to schedule my interview (phone), but got my email offer in two days. Everything else also took a while (5-6 months), finally leaving this month.

When arranging the initial interview, does Aramco work with you and your schedule?

He was contacted on Linked-In by a recruiter looking for someone in his line of work. It was probably mid August that that happened.

From my experience and others I talk to, the Company will likely fly you into Houston for the interview. You may also do a video conference while there too. From application to interview time, it will likely be a matter of weeks. But the entire application to offer period ranges from 5/6 months up to one year! Best wishes on your journey.

On the flipside, are you contacted if you will NOT be considered for interview?

I read your post that you are in east coast U.S, and your user name is Lexington, just wondering if you were from Boston or nearing areas ?
