We will be moving to Abqaiq in two weeks! We are not going to bring our tv's from the USA but will buy new ones there. We are wondering if our game systems, Wii, PS3, etc. will work on tv's bought in Kingdom? Thanks!!

Welcome!
Yes, the wii bought from the US will work on a tv bought in Saudi. However, wii games bought in Saudi will not work on a console bought in the US.
I dont know about the other play station equipment.

My son's experience does not agree with what we were told.
We gave away our US Xbox and bought one here.
The games he brought (accidently) from the US do play on the Saudi Xbox!
Also NTSC (US version) games are not difficult to find here.
I recommend you take a chance and bring the game system just in case. The air shipment would be best so he doesn't have to wait as long!

The key to anything you bring from the U.S. working on a TV bought here is that you buy a multisystem TV that shows NTSC and PAL. Most TV's sold here are multi-system, unlike the U.S. which are only NTSC. But there are a few PAL only TV's, so always check when you go to buy - see it in the literature, don't accept their word for it.
We have found that some U.S. DVD's do not play on our multisystem DVD player we bought here, so I brought a cheap one from the U.S. (Walmart) and they play on it.
If you buy a PAL game, then it won't work on your U.S. game console, but we found NTSC games in Khobar and Bahrain, and of course brought them back with us when in the U.S.
We did bring one of our U.S. TV's and the kids had their game consoles on it. Also there are posts here about bringing in U.S. TV's and them working here with some of the satellite TV companies (cable here).
We brought over xbox and wii and playstation and all their games. The boys had the games and consoles in their carryon and checked luggage, so they'd have them when they arrived.
