Two pet allowance in all of Aramco. Although, I have friends who have 3 pets, how? They find a friend who will register the pet under their name.

Good morning, We have received our offer and plan on beginning in June 2012 (if all goes as planned). My husband is an ER Physician and I am an RN. We have 3 children in the USA in college. It looks like we will be living in Dharan and I am really looking forward to meeting everyone and getting settled in! I hear we should be ready for some very hot weather that month. This site has been so helpful, but I am new to forums and not sure how to "pm" someone with a few questions. Is there someone who could help me?

Firstly, I would like to thank all of the contributors to this forum. The wealth of information has been invaluable. My husband has been offered a position with Aramco most likely in Udhailiyah, we are just awaiting the contract.
I have many questions about this camp as there is not as much information on the forum with regard to this location. I know it is considerably smaller than Dhahran. We are a family of 5 from New Zealand, with 2 daughters who are currently in 3rd and 4th grade and a son who next year will begin pre-K. I am wondering what activities, outside of school are available to children of these ages? What is a typical class size for children in these grades at the Udhailiyah School?
Also I am an elementary teacher currently working in an international school and am wondering what the chances/process is for gaining employment as a spouse is at the Aramco group of schools? I understand that all vacancies would most likely have been filled for the next school year, but was wondering if anyone had had, experience finding employment after arrival within the schools?
I understand too, that there is also a gym and swimming pool, but am wondering if there are any boot camps, cycle groups, aerobics classes, yoga classes etc. No I'm not a fitness fanatic, but thought this might be a great opportunity to dedicate some time to establishing a fitness routine.
I look forward to your replies.

Well as I posted in another thread, we got our visas. Apperently someone messed up and my husband and son got residence visas but they gave me a multiple entry visitor visa, so that pushed us back a few days. Expected flight on the 22nd. Arriving late on the 23rd.
Looking forward to meeting everyone in person. RT here we come!
If anyone needs anything small or something we could stick in our shipment, PM me and I will see what I can do.

Good luck and welcome to RT! Im glad the wait is over!
If you're arriving at the end of April it should be a beautiful time to start out here! (We arrived at the end of July and it was HOT lol).
The first few weeks/months can be bumpy until you get to know the system, meet new people, etc but my wife and I have been here in RT since July 29th and while we do miss the US, we also are really enjoying RT.

My husband and I are moving to Udhailiyah compound next month, I've been reading this forum and would like to thank everybody for contributing such valuable information. I just wanted to know if there is a yoga or pilates class in the compound?

We finally have DSL! I have been missing my Internet. It took about 2 weeks to get it.
We got moved in and received our ebox about a week and a half after arriving, so that was nice.
Our dog and cat made it fine. Our dog is very happy because before he was mainly an outdoor dog and now he is inside most of the time.
We live two doors down from Twofeets, it is very nice to have great neighbors. Also, Cacord has been very helpful in meeting people and getting around. So far we really love RT. Such a great community.
If anyone is coming soon I will be happy to email with you and help in anyway that I can. It was very nice to have that help before coming.
