Sweet water is the same as city water in the U.S. it has been desalinated and it goes to one faucet in the kitchen, the dishwasher, and the ice maker. It is water you can drink and use for cooking and many wash their hair in it.
Raw water is water that has been treated but has not been completely desalinated or had minerals and dissolved solids removed. This water goes throughout the house, to the washer - many people take their good clothes to one of the cleaners for laundering, showers, yard; everywhere the sweet water doesn't go.

I was told the yard water is not even raw water, that it is untreated reclaimed water. Is this accurate?

I don't think so - any reclaimed water outlets must be clearly labelled and are restricted to only authorized personnel.
According to Saudi Aramco Engineering Standard SAES-A-104:
However, it is worth pointing out that reclaimed water is treated (otherwise it would just be sanitary wastewater).
The same Engineering Standard states that reclaimed water is:
(Emphasis mine)

Thanks for clarifying about the outdoor hose taps, GroveWanderer. Good to know.
Now, what about the sprinkler systems they install in yards for a fee? I've heard it's not advisable to eat fruits or vegetables grown in yards, but this could be Aramco residential myth, lol. In other words, if you have a beautiful date palm, or plant tomatoes or other plants, can you feel confident eating the fruit if it's watered with the sprinkler system within one's yard?

I hope so, we've been eating stuff grown in our garden for the last 10 years or more!
We also know other people who grow their own vegetables and eat them - never heard of any ill-effects so far.
For what it's worth, I have not previously heard this story about it being unsafe to eat vegetables grown in your backyard.
