Hi there
We have just received confirmation of our relocation to RT next month.
We have a medium sized dog (Bichon Frise) that we plan to take with us. Does anyone have any experience of relocating a dog from the UK (Scotland)? I have read on previous posts on here that small dogs are banned from KSA but when I have tried to check it out officially, I get conflicting information ?

You will simply love RT. I am also a Scot originally from Banchory - Aberdeenshire and have experience of moving animals etc also anything else I can do to help do ask.

Just wondering how JannyLou managed with her puppy issues? We have been told out Bichon-cross dogs can't come in either. Don't know what to do...

I'm still in the uk so haven't done anything further about the dog until I know when I'll be heading out. Who told you that you couldn't take your dog in ?

Hi - I was told by a pet moving company in the US that they are having a harder time with small dogs - in fact, they aren't being allowed in right now! I also called the Saudi embassy in Canada and they said the same thing. This is worrisome. My child couldn't live without his puppies! Anybody got a small Bichon-style dog into SA lately?

Hi - I did contact Jane Edwards in the US about the dog issue and she is the one who told me they are having problems getting small dogs in... I will check with her again. I also emailed the vet in Jeddah but no response. It's probably easier to deal with once I get there/if I get there...
