AoA,
My husband is joining ARAMCO and he will be relocating to Abqaiq on Engineer status. I wanted to know about the family accomodation there. How much is the house ready on arrival ?
Can anyone help? I would like to see if there are any photos available for the housing.
Awaiting favorable replies...
Kind Regards.

Welcome to Aramco.
The house upon arrival has furniture in the house: couch, chair, coffee table, end table, dining room table and chairs, beds, dresser, also: kitchen ware - plates, glasses, flatware, pot, skillet, pans, NO bakeware, NO small appliances (microwave, toaster, coffee maker, etc). The house has a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, a few kitchen dishs and towels, bath towels, sheets, blankets (1 for each bed in the house), shower curtain, Aramco ds, NO trash can, NO vacuum cleaner. Washer and dryer may be in the house or requested from Furniture Warehouse.
Someone usually puts some juice and eggs, etc in the refrigerator to help with first arriving prior to getting to the commissary.
No one can tell you what type of house you will have unless you tell us if your husband is on Bachelor status, family status - number of dependents (children coming) and grade code.
There are pictures of houses in the forum. Each compound has similar housing.

My husband is on family status with code 12. But I will join him after three or four months of his arrival (I think this much time is required for getting my iqama)
@ Carolina I tried to send you PM but Im facing some problem. Plz PM me the details if u can otherwise you can send details to my personal id "sidra_sanai@hotmail.com"
One more thing, I heard that all furniture and appliances will be charged after four months except stove and refrigerator. Is it correct?
Thanks to all of you.

Yes, after the initial 3 months, Aramco will charge a nominal amount for the furniture rental. You can always request for the rental to be waived (usually a letter to housing saying that you shipment is on its way will gave you another 1-2 months grace period).

If you come within 90 days of your husband's arrival, he will be given the family status housing. If you are to join him after 90 days, he will be given bachelor status housing.
