Just a heads up for those who used to use DHL to import into KSA, they no longer provide this service. They stated they will still export at a reduced rate but other companies will have to be used to import.
Does anyone else know of a shipping company with an Aramco discount who imports?
Thanks

Are you saying they just don't import with an Aramco discount or not at all?

Sorry, was in a bit of a hurry when I posted.
I had some issues with the language barrier, but I know they no longer give the aramco discount to import, only to export. Also, they no longer have a pickup service. At one point he said they only ship to Aramco from within KSA (ie no longer import at all) but he also said that may be temporary.

I sent an inquiry to DHL Global Forwarding in St. Louis (agent that I use), and he has indicated that he has heard nothing to this effect and it is business as usual. Also Namma Cargo (agent on this end) is not aware of these changes. Maybe it is not anounced yet, but at this time, DHL is still exporting to Saudi Arabia from the USA with Aramco discount. Rates can be found in Corporate Discount Directory under air cargo services. I hope this does not change since it is a good discount (but still expensive).
Also I contacted my (private) forwarding company in Florida that uses DHL to ship to me in KSA - they are not aware of any changes with DHL going into Saudi. Hope this helps.
Note: Our discount includes shipping to KSA and delivery. However, it does not include other charges such as pickup (if available) and some surcharges (which can add up quickly).
