I hope korprof has found the Korean family connections that he was looking for. If this isn't the case, then please PM me.
I think the Korean restaurants in Bahrain & Jubail are quite nice while the Korean restaurant in downtown Khobar is not fresh or authentic-tasting....expensive but not good (what's the point?).
The Korean grocery store in Khobar near the Corniche is good (894-6986) but I've heard the Jubail store is better.
