Everyone,
I had a written offer for the position I applied for emailed to me on 30th Nov 2023, but haven't went on to the interview phase yet. It was fairly specific on the Work Schedule, Day Rate, Accommodation Allowance, Car & fuel allowance, Travel Allowance, and other benefits. It was through Saudi Geophysical but they said that Saudi Aramco would be the ones interviewing me. They were asking for an updated CV and signed copy of that offer. Is this out of the ordinary or fairly normal?
I applied on 13th Oct 2023. They did say that they would be up......... me on the upcoming process shortly. I signed and sent them my response on 7th Dec 2023.

So it’s through an Aramco contractor?

I believe it is a manpower supply company to Aramco and this is not an offer that what you got now. Offer comes after interview is successfully completed.
Just wait and follow the direction from the company.

jrs....yes, an Aramco contractor. Saudi Geophysical. It is for a Operations Geologist (Geosteering) position within their Geosteering Center. I actually have a friend who has been in this position this past year that I am talking with there. Saudi Geophysical has passed my resume and application onto Aramco. The contractor provides housing at their Rofana Compound, along with a car and fuel allowance. They pay for all the utilities along with internet. They also pay for Round trip ticket on economy class from Dammam - Home - Dammam, once per year for the employee and his family. They also provide Medical issurance.for employee and his family. They pay the employee as a Day Rate where Aramco counts it as an hourly pay. Day Rate of 600 USD (2,250/-SR) per working day. They even shared the work schedule for this position since it is a technically critical position. Work Schedule: Three 8-hour rotating shifts. 7 days on / 2 days off (5am - 1pm); 7 days on / 2 days off (1pm - 9pm); 7 days on / 3 days off (9pm - 5am) @ knyxxx ----My friend that works there for Saudi Geophysical said that when the contractor reaches out and sends our resumes onto Aramco, the people usually do get interviews with Aramco.
