If your starting date is on or before Dec 31st then you will qualify for repat allowance in 2024 and also full years SAIP in 2025. Start on 1st January and you will not see the repat till 2025.
Vacation days are pro-rata from your starting date as is SAIP. So if you start April 1st, you will receive 75% of 2024 vacation credit and 75% of SAIP in 2025.

Many if not most Aramcons go home for Christmas and New Years, but those who stay in camp often get together for celebrations. |
