Hi,
My husband is coming to KSA in the near future and the kids and I are to follow 90 days later. I am just wondering if any partners (wives/husbands) joined their partner on a visitors visa for this 90 day period and whether you found it beneficial? I know I would need to vacate the country and return to my place of residence to get our iqama, but was thinking that it might help to have visited the schools and tried to familiarise myself before coming back to collect the children? Any advice around this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

My wife and kids are coming to visit before they relocate to see the area, familiarize, etc. Makes sense to me, but they are joining me after the US school year is over in June.

Hi Coyotep - if you prefer you can DM me for my question. Have you got confirmation about bringing family in after the school ends in June? I read somewhere that family has to be in within 90 days although its not very strictly imposed. I also want to bring in family after school year ends here in UK (early July).

That's a bit annoying because there are no 90-day school holidays and arriving in the early summer months is not the easiest time for the family.

Once the "Yellow Slip" is issued for the visa you have 90 days to get them here. Everything visa related has to be activated within 90 days or you lose it (and potentially fined).

And as i understand yellow slip will be issued only after the police verification of my spouse (children seems to be expempted). Assuming I get iqama in a month or so, then I can start processing visa etc for family. I have to get the order from RA in which these things will happen for family and see how much time I can buy.
