With recent headlines and concerns with things escalating in the Middle East just now - what are the general feelings of safety in camp / in Dhahran?
I am not seeking policitical views - just trying to understand if people on camp feel safe as we will be arriving soon with young family.

No changes at all, on or off camp. The school had an event yesterday and their security was as normal, the malls etc are normal.

Thanks for the responses, that is comforting to hear. Big decision for the family but we are all very excited.
We are a young family (kids 5 & 2) moving out from the UK. I am heading out end of December and family will follow as soon as I can sort the visas! Would love to hear from anyone else in a similar position.

We are also a young family (kids 7&3), moving out from the UK. I'm waiting for the visa. I worked in Saudi Arabia before, it is quite safe and peace. Enjoy your life there.

It’s safe here, especially so on camp. Only visible difference is security wearing flak jackets again. Hopefully things won’t escalate in the region.

Great, sounds like there are quite a few people in the same boat as us with young families moving over soon.
Looking forward to meeting you all in Dhahran in January!

Aramco facilities and camps are by far the safest and most secure in Saudi. Absolutely nothing to worry about!

o,
Like so many others in the this thread we are a family of 4 getting close to sending hubby over and then joining after 90 days. We did wonder about the impact of the flare up and if there were any impact. Great to be reassured by people on the ground. I am looking forward to starting this new journey. Its going to be fascinating.
