Greetings, everyone! I just found about this forum and thought about posting my questions here.
I'm a professional currently residing in Canada. I recently had an encounter with a recruiter regarding a potential job opportunity at ARAMCO under SMP. I underwent their application process, which included a brief Skype interview with the hiring managers. Following this, they offered me a position with a verbal offer and requested numerous documents, such as copies of my payslips, passport, certificates, and a police clearance, etc…
However, it has now been four months since I submitted these documents, and I haven't received a single update. My attempts to contact the recruiters have been met with responses like "I will send you updates soon," but lately, they stopped responding to my emails altogether. Is there anyone here who has experienced something similar? The communication has been frustrating from the beginning, and I'm not entirely clear on the hiring process. Based on what I read here - I guess I’m in the BI stage!

Agency is always going to be different and if you have a look about on here there are a few people who have had this and no job appears. Do not give your notice. And I’d advise not spending any money on Medicals or police checks until you have a proper job offer. The police check is only valid for one month for visa issuance.
For the company, BI is through credence, so if they or similar have not contacted you then you are not at that stage.

Thanks tamsin, I'm not worried about the money spent for police clearance, stamping, etc...I'm concerned with the detailed information shared in KYC form + shared personal documents. Even a secret level investigation here in Canada won't go that detailed. Should I be worried!?

I imagine a company that big with its presence all over the world will have very stringent policies with respect to safeguarding personal data and documents. I won’t worry at all about their safeguards With regard to the investigations, if they haven’t contacted you, they haven’t commenced it yet. So nothing to worry about at all

I doubt it, I think it’s more likely the agency overpromised and there not actually being an opportunity now rather than anything nefarious.
