Hi.Was offered work location offshore marine moving as the work location for projects.was told i go offshore sunday and back thursday.does aramco provide transport from home to airport to offshore?anyone can share their experiences with this type of work location?thanks

So this is my work schedule. I work offshore from Tanajib.
There is a bus that leaves RT to Dammam and you catch the Aramco flight to Tanajib airport then fly offshore. Or if you're lucky enough to fly from RT, its a 10 minute drive from RT camp.

Thanks kyle.was told need to find accomodation outside camp,got any recommendations ? Will be on bachelor status initially but plan to bring family later next year. Do you need a car given the offshore schedule?its full 12 hours offshore right?thanks

Have you been told which area you'll be working from?
I know a few guys who cover both RT and Tanajib offshore marine and have Aramco vehicles to travel.
I'm on family status inside RT so can't comment on any outside accommodation I'm afraid. But a car is definitely something to consider and budget for. I couldn't live without it here, and gas is fairly cheap.

If Aramco don't provide is schooling for your kids you should realistically be looking at Dhahran / Dammam as the International schools are there. Compounds are crazy expensive, apartments in the local community not so much. 6 months up front is standard for accomodation in kingdom so be prepared. |
