Hi there,
I’m an Australian and recently got offered a role with GC 13 (Engineer-2). While reviewing the breakdown with recruiter I asked about further GCs and I was told that 13 & 14 are pretty close in perks and I’m better of getting a negotiated offer within GC 13 than to expect a jump to 14.
Could someone shed some light on this as in how’s 13 & 14 differentiated and its implications as well.

Only real difference when GCs come into play is the jump from 10 to 11 and 14 to 15. I personally wouldn't worry about GC in-between.

Effectively the les don't really matter, just figure out of the compensation is suitable. Supposedly a GC 13 will be eligable for a promotion, in practical terms expats almost never get promoted to a higher gc

Only real difference when GCs come into play is the jump from 10 to 11 and 14 to 15. I personally wouldn't worry about GC in-between. Thank You! It made sense to me know:) |
