Thanks for the replies! On the subject of shipping vs buying - I was under the impression that I would invoice the company on arrival, as opposed to receiving the cash. If it’s cash then it definitely makes sense to buy local. Can I just ask for the cash amount allocated to shopping upfront? Also, in terms of the house size. I’m coming single so I know I only get a one bed. I’m a bit concerned it’ll be a tight squeeze, esp when dad comes to visit! I’ve seen the floorplan of the Mango places but can’t read the numbers very clearly to make out dimensions.. I don’t know if anyone has photos to get a feel for the units? Or if anyone is in jebel heights because I haven’t a clue what the one beds there are like.. I know I can choose to live out of camp in a larger place - but I can’t imagine being in dhahran and not living in camp.. plus traffic getting in would be a nightmare.. has anyone chosen not to live in camp? It’s only cash in lieu now, they do not pay shipping.

This is = one basic. - cash in Lieu - to cover moving all your belongings to ksa from your country of origin. Enough to book container. No receipts needed. - other - related to expenses incurred for family visa process. Keep all receipts and submit ones your family gets their iqama.

Not from the USA but I’m from Aus and coming over as a single female and I have connected with a few girls from NZ, UK etc who are due over in the next few months. Would be nice to connect are you guys there already? Would love if you could shed some light on the accommodation
