There is a special case for that set of circumstances called "Bridging" that comes in to play. You need to have worked at least 1 day in the week before the Eid vacation and 1 day in the week after it plus take the Thursday as an "L" day.
In that case you "earn" the 2 days weekend as worked.

darthmole, they never asked me to certify my degree. Would you mind elaborating on this? I have submitted everything they asked and they did not seem to ask anything else. They only said that I passed the medical but did not mention anything about the BI check so I assume it was successful as my RA said he's waiting for visa block.

o, I am in the employment process stage. Currently awaiting my offer. I was told at the workshop that brining my cat over will be okay but I keep reading conflicting answers. Is anyone able to clarify please? I can’t imagine not coming over with my cat!

Should be no issues - cats are very common as pets. You will need to use an import agent for the paperwork and procedure together with relevent inoculations and paperwork completed UK side.
Should also be able to carry it as hand luggage in a suitable travel container.
However, it may be that you need to be in kingdom BEFORE you can arrange this. In that case come, arrange your Iqama then pop back to retrieve your cat.

Is anyone able to clarify please? I can’t imagine not coming over with my cat! Lots of people do, no issues at all. If you are coming from the UK they cannot come as hand luggage. I’ll message you.
