goingworldwide - I was planning to keep my accounts at RBC, and then open the required account at the bank within the camp. Curious to hear people's thinking on utilizing other options though if you're willing to share.

I found this forum fantastic. I worked mostly in the oil & gas industry in Calgary in the past 10 years and recently received an offer for a role in Dharan (finance related) and am still feeling unreal and not sure if I should make the move. My concern is around giving up everything including a career in Canada / US and settle in a country that I and my family have never set foot on. but also feeling excited to have this chance to explore the unknowns and living a different life. Wondering if there is anyone on this forum from Alberta or Canada in general, and what their experience / advice is. Any insight will help and be appreciated. Congrats and see you soon! Yes lots of Calgarians here, many with Flames logos or emblems on cars... It's more discrete than 🍁 Yet to see any Oilers out here...lol |

Hi,
I am from Edmonton, recently applied for a Data Scientist position, the application status has been changed to "Congratulations, you have been selected for the interview" on March 04, 2023. However, no news after that not even any update to fix the interview date. Is it normal to wait so long? Can anyone have a similar experience? Please let me know any contact number where I can call to query regarding this.

Hi guys, this is very informative forum and I recently joined the forum.
I applied online for couple of positions on Aramco portal. On one position which I applied in December 2022 the status changed to "congratulations you have been selected for interview" on May 29. I am still waiting to receive any email from recruiter regarding the interview date and time. I am just wondering how long it will take after the status change to receive the email from recruiter.
