Hi everyone, do you know if your family can join you in a ''toursit visa'' until their iqama is ready? They can, but they’d have to return home or to a country they have residence to process the visa. Cannot just be converted in country. |

Greetings!
I am moving to Dhahran in two months, and I am told that I will be residing in Dhahran. I am a single girl and I wanted to get some info regarding the singles accommodation. If anyone could answer, I would be highly grateful.

It’ll most likely be the Mango/Mint housing. It is very old, pretty dated (like most of the Hills, my house is the same) but a decent size. You get a living room with open plan kitchen downstairs and a bathroom and double bedroom upstairs. Outside you have a small patio. Lookswise, once you get your own stuff in it completely changes it and I’ve seen many that are just lovely.

I am landing in exactly one month now but not been given any details on accommodation. Appreciate this is normal but wondering if anyone else got informed where they will be staying or availability of houses in camp at the moment? For ref, I am told a 3 bed house for couple with two kids will be allocated to us within camp.

There was a spell of only Hills but these last few months/weeks it really has been everywhere, JH apartments, Main camp and Hills. No one floor plan or area is without it’s pros and cons, not one. You will get what is good to go once you are at the top of the list so it’s probably best not to even try and guess. No control here. |

maverick We arrived yesterday, were given our home assignment 3 days before leaving in the JH apartments, just needed a 2 bedroom though.

Nothing being built in camp at present. Loads outside, always building.
