Just wanted to get the census from people who had luck negotiation their base salary. Is Aramco open to counter offer on their revised offer or is that pushing my luck? So after the initial offer, I countered as it wasn't sufficient. They up the offer but not to the point as I was expecting. Has anyone been in this scenario and what was your experience?

As you read the posts here… some had great success but I have also heard of cases in which Aramco basically moved on.
Its up to you to determine what is worth it for you to go.

I was wondering this as well Jamall, I am waiting on the first offer. If you don’t mind me asking, what % increase did you ask for?

So I was in similar situation as you. Did first round of negotiations, the revised offer was still below what I was excepting. I discussed with my recruiter and he said its final offer from the department I-e either take it or leave it. I didn't push it further as the offer was reasonable enough but I think he was bluffing , but I guess we would never know.

I don't beleive if anyone when recruiter tell him take it or leave it, and he says i leave it he would come back to him again.

As a rule ALWAYS negotiate. Whether it’s 10/15 or 20% more, you have to ask for what you are worth. Remember, if you don’t, in a year or so you’ll soon get disheartened when you get a pittance of a salary increase and realise you sold yourself short.
If they say take it or leave it, give them a reasonable counter offer to think about. If you have got this far Aramco want you, you have lever.age .Once you sign your lever.age disappears.
It’s all negotiating tactics, remember their objective is to get you as cheaply as possible. Your objective is to maximise Your value.
Yes Aramco have KPIs on this and will always try to lowball.

Has anyone had recent success in re-negotiation, and if so, what %?

So I asked for over 25% increase on my base salary as my current salary isn't close to the market value. so I countered with what the current market value for my role plus some extra. They have came back with a 10% base increase, I have now countered to see if they can do a little better. so now it's a waiting game.

How about timeline? i.e. how long from your counter offer, until you received the revised offer with 10% increase?

Thanks for your honesty! Are you at all worried about not closing your position by year end? I have been told that due to budget reasons, they have to close the position quickly which may limit negotiation timing.

I negotiated my salary as I was expecting a little more based on my current Salary.
I got 15% increase and I was told that anything above that needs to get special approval and may delay the process.
Based on my expectations, I accepted the job offer. Thee whole process took 2 days.

Again, there is no harm, also I should have mentioned they were closed for a week due to the religious holidays, hence 3 weeks.

I have been told that due to budget reasons, they have to close the position quickly which may limit negotiation timing. This actually gives you negotiating power, they have to close the deal, because if runs beyond year end the depts budget disappears and to get that again is a monumental ballache… Use it to your advantage.
