By the way, my interview was on Aug but the status is changed in different position that I applied and never been interviewed 😂. This might be the same department positions or the position is closed. Let’s see, just information to other waiting members here in this forum…

In November, I successfully completed a face-to-face interview and received an email affirming my technical qualification for the position. However, it was emphasized that this did not guarantee a job offer. After a period of two weeks with no communication, I noticed a change in my application status from "thanks for participating in the interview" to "moved to another requisition."
Seeking clarification on this status change, I reached out to the recruiter, who informed me that I am considered the backup candidate. I was advised to await a resolution with the primary candidate, a process expected to take 6-8 weeks. Meanwhile, I have been selected for interviews for two other positions, but I've been informed that my status is currently frozen. This means I won't be called for an interview for these new positions until I am released from the backup role.
Has anyone here been in my situation? Specifically, I am curious about the likelihood of success as a backup candidate, as well as any insights into whether being a backup candidate may offer consideration for new job openings.
it is unfortunate that my current status as a backup candidate prevents me from attending the interviews for the other two positions I have been selected for.

Thank you and you well explained above but at least you received feedback from RA, I never get. I believe you applied the same positions under the same department, therefore you will not be considered for an interview for the other two, otherwise, your interview for other positions will be definitely held. Do not think they because of you are back up candidate that other interviews will not be. Just wait and please share your experience again. Good luck mate 👍

You had a call with RA? That means you received a conditional offer? my bad... RA as recruitment agent not relocation agent to the verbal offer stage at the moment How long did it take you to receive the verbal offer after the status changed to "moved to another requisition"?

Did your recruiter provide you any update post interview like you were shortlisted prior to this application status change?

Hi Just checked and have the same message on the portal. It moved from "thank you for participating to the interview process" to "...move to a different requisition" This was anticipated a couple of weeks ago from a call with the RA, the requisition is in the same department and should be the last step before an offer being made. S Hi SLVST - How long did it take you to receive the offer after your status changed to "moved to another requisition"?

Hi all,
It has been almost a year since being interviewed with Aramco and no feedback or rejection since then. Recruiter has been contacted for several time with no answer from hiring managers.
Is there anybody who might have experienced the same situation?

Recruitment coordinator mentioned position has been postponed until further notice on the date of the interview. Seems a little weird. Could it be due to possible internal hiring or its normal to have this happen in Aramco?
