Hi All, Firstly this is an extremely useful and insightful thread for prospective employees - so many thanks to those who spend time responding. A few questions. Does anyone have floor plans or ideally photos of what a 2 bedroom house on the Dhahran compound would look like. I have been informed that I will be allocated a property. It would therefore be much appreciated to have a sense as to what it is I am saying yes to in the absence of being able to visit before joining / choosing on arrival! Secondly, under Aramco policy, are employees able to continue their consulting business outside of the Aramco working week, or is an Aramco employee only allowed to undertake work on behalf of Aramco and therefore has to cease their consulting work on other projects in other sectors? Thank you for your help in advance, and before anyone says it, I have spent about 15 hours of my life scrolling through message boards to find the above answers and to answers of the many other questions I had! Best, Camp housing floor plans are not to be shared externally. However they can be viewed internally from housing or your computer. No you cannot legally pursue additional employment, consulting etc after hours within Saudi Arabia as Saudi Aramco is your sole iqama sponsor.

Best, Not sure how far you are in the employment process, but I had to close my own ltd consulting company during the process, as it was considered conflict of interest. If not, Aramco would’ve withdrawn the offer.
