Hi thaturnine
Good to know that you will be out here soon.
I get the impression from your post that you are an 11+ grade code employee. In order to help further we would need to know where you are going to be based.
If in Dhahran, there is currently plenty of housing and you would be allocated a property prior to arrival. Historically there has been the opportunity to live off camp but if you wanted to do that now it would have to be fully at your own expense (as opposed to historical with company financial support). I was told of my accommodation a week before setting off. They will also send you a floor plan as well as the address.
If you are living away from Dhahran it is again also likely that you would be allocated housing in a compound (unless someone here more experienced than me can tell you otherwise).
Hope that helps somewhat. Feel free to ask more questions if you think it would help.

Hi, trebbie
thank you for providing the information.
I’m coming to Aramco initially as a contractor so on-camp housing is not available.
My friend at Dharan already contacted the vertical village compound and was told no 1-bd apartment was available currently. Hope this information would be helpful to others looking for accommodation.

You may find the following two threads useful regarding housing availability. Generally, the market is down and available options (budget and quality wise) are plenty. In the first thread there are villas at 70k (all inclusive price, which could be further negotiable), while in the second one there are flats with prices starting as low as 30k. Check photos and the relevant posts for more information. forum.aramcoexpats.com/thread/127265/housing-market-compound-khobar-reducedforum.aramcoexpats.com/thread/127426/housing-brand-units-dhahran-main
