Isnt the work visa only valid for three months? So you are driven by that date to be in the kingdom.

Yes, that visa issued is for 90 days, so that's one issue.
My case was straight forward: since I'm single, and my previous manager was aware of the process, I arrived within 3 weeks of the confirmation letter.
Originally, I had wanted 4 to 6 weeks, however, they wanted me in by the 2nd quarter, and I went along.
In the end it all worked out: even managed a quick trip to Cuba before I arrived ... lol!

Thanks Member, makes sense. I actually spoke with my Relocation Advisor earlier today and we agreed upon a late August arrival, so as of now I am scheduled to arrive in Dhahran on the 27th.
