What's your nationality (citizenship/passport)? That's your biggest deciding factor there.
If it's Canada/US/UK/EU, should be at least GC 13 or 14 I would assume.

I’m a Canadian. They have offered me 14, but I was thinking 15 would be more appropriate given the various leadership roles I’ve been doing for the last 15 years. Do you think it’s negotiable? Thanks.

Thanks. Expats who come GC 15 and above and aren't management are also usually the first to be let go. As previous leadership roles, keep in mind expats come because of their core competencies and as an expat, you don't and most likely won't have management opportunities here, unless otherwise.

StartboyX - I need clarification, did you mean the GC13 is suitable for Canadian expats with "atleast" 20 years of experience or is that where Canadian expats typically start as a minimum?
Newbie1234 - Were you interviewed in 2018? I ask because its been almost 2 months since I was told to expect an offer.

GC: Most Western expats will come start with at least GC 12, and it's dependent on education, experience, and salary at last 2 places of employment. Most positions posted for Western expats now require 10 to 15 years of experience, in some cases more, so yes, those positions will most likely start at GC 13 or even GC 14.

Is it hard to get in aramco?sorry for too many questions Salary is subjective on too many factors, number 1 being passport. So let's say you have a foreign passport VS Canadian, and coming from Canada, yes, that will impact your salary. Furthermore, it's a given they'll obviously match and exceed your previous salary, otherwise why would you move, correct? Lastly, it it hard to get into Aramco? I don't know ... everyone has a different story. Some people apply directly, some get recruited, some use recruitment agencies, which I would advise against as most are scams. I applied on the website and got a call within a week. The key, sell yourself on your cover letter and within you CV, list your accomplishments. I can tell you previous experience will definitely work in your favor.

Correction, I meant to say previous "Gulf" experience. It's a given your previous experience itself is a factor.

Not everyone has previous Gulf experience, as it's not a requirement.
