Hi everyone! My husband is now in the visa processing phase. We are also now expecting another baby. We have some questions: 1. If I join my husband after the baby is born, will the baby is also got relocation allowance? (Flight ticket). I understand that baby under 2 years old will only pays small amounts fare. However, what I understand that our tickets will be ordered by Aramco. Just want to make sure that everybody is on the list. 2. The amount of the annual repatriation /travel allowance has been stated in the offer that was signed before I got pregnant. Will it be automatically adjusted when the baby is born? Because family size has increased. Or we need to ask revisions?
Please advise. Thanks in advance.

These are questions you need ask the relo advisor not us. I assume your husband has been assigned a relo advisor at this pt? They will have the accurate answers, if they don't know they will find out for you.
Employees have babies after starting with companies all the time. Aramco is just like any other company where you can add dependents as needed to benefit plans. I would say repatriatism allowance falls into a similar category.

It took us 30 days from my husband landing to us landing. The birth and marriage certificates went off to be attested before he left, then he brought them to KSA and couriered them back to the uk once he got the yellow slip, they were returned in the same parcel as the passports with the visas in.
Depending on the age of your kids you might need to get their last report card attested too. I don’t know if it’s a government or school requirement.

I wonder if your birth and marriage certificates were attested by Saudi Embassy in London (I believe you are from the UK). My documents (kid's birth cert and my marriage cert) were attested by UK ministry of Foreign Affairs only. No stamps from Saudi Embassy. Are your documents the same?

We have little bits of paper (like tiny white post its), stamped in Arabic on ours.

"stamped in Arabic" on your birth and marriage certificates = Do you mean stamps by Saudi Embassy in London?

Is the attestation of marriage cert, birth cert etc needed for family iqama done via Aramco or you have to get done by yourself?

From memory, I got a couple of copies of Birth and Marriage certs attested in UK before coming over. Then once here they were sent thru Aramco SAP system for translation.
Best to have multiple copies of important documents and passport photos to hand when you arrive.

To give you an idea consider around 2 months as realistic from the time employee joins to family travels. I have just got an appointment for a yellow slip after the Eid holiday and have already completed over a month here. If you are being employed from UK, education certificate, marriage certificate and childbirth certificate will be apostilled in UK. Once an employee gets Iqama, he can submit those to HR office for translation. They will provide all necessary documents based on which an appointment has to be made here for Yellow slip from the government office which can take around a week time. Once it's available, the visa can be filled in UK. wife medical and police clearance can be done at an early stage given ARCO is facing a long delay these days due to a recent cyber attack.
