VPainter, is that converter box necessary for watching things like Netflix, Hulu, and such using a Chromecast, or is the converter just used to connect to general tv stations in Saudi Arabia?

It is for connecting a PAL signal to a NTST TV.

HI Guys ...
I have received a job offer from Aramco as a Loss Prevention Engineer III I live in California but I am still not sure if I should go for it or no ... any Ideas or recommendations ... How stable is the job .. .Does Aramco have any Lay off history ? is the work environment considered stressful? Cost of living vs saving is it really worth the move? Aramco Schools are they great ? Teachers and curriculum is it better than home land? Medical care in Saudi is it good? Compound in Dhahran is it boring?
Thanks for your feedback.

Aramco didn't have a layoff history, until now. There are some layoffs occurring at this time. Do your job well, get good reviews, your job has been secure.
As in any job, the work place can be stressful. Some find it stressful here, others do not. Depends on how flexible you are and how you deal with the different cultures.
Yes, it is worth the move in cost of living and savings.
Aramco schools are good schools. They do rank with good public schools and some private schools. The schools are a U.S. Curriculum and are accredited by the U.S. Accrediting eny.
Medical care is ok, good, not so good. Depends on what's wrong. You need to be in charge of your healthcare, just as you do back home. Some things, they send you elsewhere for the care you need.
Dhahran compound is only boring if you choose not to get involved. Otherwise there are many activities to participate in and you can actually get over involved if you are not selective.
