o all, This is my first time posting. I have read through many of the topics and it seems pretty clear that contractors working for Aramco are not permitted to live in the Aramco compounds. I just wanted to confirm as this is most likely a deal breaker for me. I just received my job offer through HAKA and I have a limited time to make my decision. Any advice would be appreciated Thanks Mike

mikeyb513,
You get a 65% uplift to pay for your own accommodation? How is that a deal breaker....
You are a contractor and work AT Aramco not FOR them.
I'd decide quickly as my compound is now full due to all the new guys for the Stadium projects being mobilised. So a lot of the others will also fill up!

The 65% uplift is great and I am very happy about it. I am concerned with being on my own vs. living in an Aramco compound as I understand they are some of the best. I do not have much info on private compounds however. Are the private compounds comparable to Aramco compounds in terms of living conditions and safety?

mikeyb513, Remember to only use your base salary in your calculations for and against...
The 65% can be easily spent on accommodation and food and living etc... just depends on where you are. As a SMP you will be fending for yourself. Armcons have everything handed to them on a silver plate in comparison.
