Very often (~50% of the time) when submitting a reply to a forum post, I find myself being asked to log in again, thus losing all of the text in my reply. I have taken to doing a 'Select All' & 'Copy' before submitting in case I get logged out and have to login, go to the post and reply again. It's been happening to me for several months now. I haven't seen anyone else mention it, so maybe it's just me. It happens when posting from an iMac and from my iPhone.

Same thing happens to me and it is almost a year later since your post. I went through FAQs and found nothing. Very frustrating. I write in Word and then copy and paste rather than posting directly for the same reason you stated. I have never had this problem if using the iPad though. Not sure why that would make a difference. So far 100% success on the iPad.

I have often noticed this problem. I posted about it once before, albeit on a thread ostensibly about the Auto Login feature (which also doesn't work). viewtopic.php?f=27&t=2307&hilit=+log&sid=6696bde9c501530f4134aa702a2613ab#p108122I find it seems to happen most often if I either leave the site idle for a while, or switch to a different website and then come back to this one. I also use the practice of selecting and copying everything before posting, just in case it logs me out. Sometimes, especially if I know it might be a while before I finish a post (usually when I have to go off and look something up elsewhere) I'll use the Save option. |
