I get that the tower is 220V but what is the style of the plug-ins/outlets? I went to the store the other day to get some converters/adapters and there was 6 or 7 different "styles". I really don't feel like purchasing 10 of each style at $10 per adapter.
Thanks a bunch!

Socket type is G (and 220V as you said) in all other sockets except in the bathroom.

Any chance that the admin can convert some of the 220 v outlets to 110 v?

Probably not. The DT is not owned by Aramco and the management will not change plugs to 110/120V because it is banned in the kingdom. Aramco properties are 110/120V with an exception at the moment.

Hi Nemo! Wanted to let you know that adapters are easily available here. There is an electronics store called "Extra" less than 5 minutes drive away. Looks like shops are back to usual hours this weekend and you will find that there is usually someone running errands who would be happy for you to join them. Hope to meet you soon.

A note for people who are traveling here ... it is worth getting at least one (or two) high quality universal adapters. There are a few different plus styles used and it is handy to have at least one, especially in airports. If you get the ones where the different types slide out but it is one unit, these are most convenient. You can find them most places that sell travel supplies or luggage.

Nemo, when we moved overseas previously a hardware store was a great resource. We bought a handful of plug adapters for our dual-voltage stuff, and a couple of step-up transformers. I'm glad that we arrived with a few things.
