Hi everyone, I notice that it has been a month since anyone has replied to this post. What is the current opinion amongst the Aramco community of your safety in regards to the growth/movement/threat of ISIS, etc.?
Our family is slated to move to the KSA in October, and the idea of bringing a baby into the Middle East right now has me concerned. I appreciate any comments. Thanks.

The situation hasn't changed for us. No problems. We keep aware of what is going on, but do not worry about it.

What is the current situation right now regarding the actions of isis group? Recently i came across with headline news on TV stating the preparation of isis aiming ksa.How true this can be and what actions have already been taken by the ksa government so far? It is a crucial issue for expats and local ones currently living in ksa! thank you

I usually read any articles I come across regarding ISIS and I have not seen anything recently that indicates any major change in the situation as regards Saudi Arabia. From the very outset, they have had Saudi Arabia on the list of countries that they would like to control, along with virtually every other country having any kind of Islamic heritage. Their list includes the entire Middle East, North Africa, various parts of Southern Europe and South Asia including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and many southern states of the former Soviet Union.
Their plan is to have control of all these areas within 5 years. Somehow I don't see it happening.
