Search forum for the topics u listed. It’s been discussed and shared a lot on this forum over the years. Plus should have been covered on your onboarding orientation, if u have received and accepted an offer.

I haven't had the onboarding orientation yet, still waiting for the Visa and clearance.

Hi, due to join Aramco December, based in Daharnan. Any tips / recommendations would be greatly appreciated. It would be good to get advise on Car/transport, work regime, leisure facilities. Thanks Transport is limited, there are daily buses to a few malls but I haven’t seen a camp bus yet. You can hire a car on a uk licence from the airport or from Samara on camp. But, once you have your Iqama you need a Saudi licence to rent (according to the chap at Samara). You need a local licence to buy a car and there are no finance options, you can’t get credit until you’ve been here for 6 months. Cars are quite expensive and have very high mileage. I’m a dependent so can’t comment on the actual workplace (although my husband is very happy), the work hours are 7-4. You don’t get a work phone or laptop so once you are done for the day, that’s it. There are gyms, pools and a lot of clubs. Particularly for sports. The gyms are either men/women only or alternate days, open from about 4am to 10pm.

Yes, most employees and dependents have personal laptops. Just like most corp laptops w/ other companies you’ll be restricted what u can download or use on company lap issued to you.
