Hi all,
We are arriving in KSA (UDH) within the next three months, and I was wondering how your experiences are with online shopping. I buy a lot of books on Amazon, but also clothing from H&M for example. Are there severe delays in customs? And if I were to buy electronics online, would they arrive safely, or should I not even bother? TYIA!

Book Depository has free worldwide shipping, so that may be a better alternative than Amazon.
If you are shipping electronics, then I would suggest using Aramex or DHL since they're fast and secure.
Most of the stuff I buy online I have shipped to my mom's house in USA and then she repacks everything into one box and sends it.

I have ordered once with Bookdepository, and probably won't do it again.. Amazon however has a very good customer service so I'm happy to pay for shipping as long as my books actually arrive
But it's good to hear I can still shop online once we're there! Thanks UmmRiyam.

Have most people been able to order online and have Amazon direct ship to KSA easily? What problems have you guys had if anything? I shop way too much on Amazon, but it would be nice to know that I could order the brands that I have spent too many hours researching and know that I like. Then I wouldn't need to pack a year's supply of vitamins, just order every three months or so. Thoughts?
