Hi Folks,
I want to get an information about New rental assistance allowance that already discussed in this forum before.
Following the e-mail, in case that I am willing to live off compound or choose outside of private house, I can get a support for Max. SR 225,000 if I am married and have 2 kids. is it right and already applied to employee?
In that case, how much deduction will be expected to monthly salary? I heard that about $500 is expected for a resident living in Dhahran.

OK, as of last Thursday, Oct 31, 2013 (but I didn't see the email till today) the rental assistance allowance policy has changed.
According to that email, the policy change on RAA is:
All expatriate male employees* (SC 3-10 and 11+) are now eligible to live off camp. Those who do not live in company provided housing will receive an unaccountable RAA of 3x monthly base salary with no cap and a minimum payment of SR 20,000 for single/bachelor status and SR 30,000 for family status employees.
Family status employees are also eligible for an accountable allowance subject to a maximum or actual rent, whichever is less. The maximum allowance, which is inclusive of the unaccountable RAA, is as follows:
Family Size (IK residents) Maximum Allowance (inclusive of unaccountable RAA) Married with no children SR 175,000 Married with 1 child SR 200,000 Married with 2 children SR 225,000 Married with 3 or more children SR 250,000

I am not sure I totally understand your question - what kind of deduction are you referring to? If you are getting the RAA, there is no deduction from your salary for rent (though there may be deductions for other things).
Incidentally, although it wasn't in my previous post, the RAA policy applies to all expat employees in Yanbu, Jeddah and Riyadh, no matter which payroll.
