o all:
I have 1 high school age child, but lost my wife a few years ago. I was made a single status offer and not bachelor's because of this; I was also told that I would not be able to come to Saudi with my kid. Could someone please clarify if Canadian taxes will be absorbed by Saudi Aramco under the Global payroll for the single status employees too, as is the case with the bachelor's? This is, if I decide to leave my child behind in Canada. If not, will the taxes be based on the gross or base salary only? I have searched the forum, but could only see posts that addressed the bachelor and family, but not the single status.

Deejay, As far as I can understand , Company will reimburse taxes in home country for SWS ( Special Work Schedule like 28/28 or 42/21 Days Schedules) employees on Global Payroll. I am not sure about your case.

Thanks bsr2go, for the input. I will be on the regular 8-4 and 20 days a month work schedule, and not on SWS. Will be waiting for more inputs from the house. Thanks all for taking time to respond to people's questions and concerns; I believe your time and selfless service are appreciated by both the silent readers and members seeking opportunities Aramco.

Hi all,
Does anybody have an idea if there is a time limit for resumption after visa issuance? I heard the visa is valid for 3 months, but wanted to know if that is also the time duration by Aramco policy.

Aramco does not have a policy on visa validity. It is set by the Saudi Ministry of the Interior and as you mention, visas are valid for 3 months from date of issue. The Department that is hiring you may have a date by which they require you, but that would be an individual requirement from them, not a company policy.
