I have recently been offered a position within the Aramco organization and would like to enquire on few topics:
Salary
I was given a sterling contract with the currency protection scheme which means I will be paid in Saudi Riyals. Is it easy to transfer this money back home say in a sterling or euro account (I live in Europe)? Is there a maximum amount u can transfer?
Accomodation
I was assigned to Abqaiq, family status. Any clues of how the housing looks like (have one daughter only)? Is it easy to run errands, are groceries easy to access?
Commuting/Driving
I’ll have to commute by bus at first til I get a local driving licence, any possibilities to hire a local driver/car? Can I rent a car for only inside the compound til I get the right to drive outside?
