They cash personal checks out of your checkbook.
Our ATM cards worked everywhere as well. Just tell your bank to unlock them for international withdrawal before you leave.

Thanks VPainter and sh90620. We got cash and we will bring our checks. We contacted our bank and all our credit cards today. Very good and helpful advice.
