o Everyone!!
After a 15 month interview process, it looks like my husband and I are going to finally be joining the family at Ras Tanura. I am beyond excited. Thank you for all of the posts/forums. I have been reading them almost incessantly.
Having always been a working mother I am excited to be at home with my two children but have thought about doing something unofficial part time on the camp. Can anyone tell me if there is a swim instructor at RT? I have seen posts about swim teams but I'm wondering if there is someone that teaches how to swim initially. Also I know that there is a lot of work out opportunites, but is there anyone that leads a body pump class or yoga classes?
For my children I am curious about lessons in a variety of things. Is there anyone on camp that teaches any of the following: music lessons ie violin, piano, drums, voice; dance lessons ie ballet, tap, jazz; horseback riding lessons; art lessons ie painting, pottery; and/or sports teams ie soccer, volleyball, basketball, tennis, baseball?
I'm looking to be very involved. Hopefully I'm not trying to bite off more than I can chew in all my excitement
Yikes, I can't wait to meet everyone!

We will be coming to RT too in early Fall ( I think). Could you bottle some of that optimism and excitement and send to my wife?

Even if there is a swim instructor there, you can also be one. You sign up through Recreation.
There are sports for children, hopefully someone living in RT will tell you about the rest.

Mscrib- We are also hoping for a fall arrival but anything this year would be fantastic. Do you and your wife have kids? I would be more than happy to talk to you wife. My enthusiasm can be VERY I fectious . I have a fairly unique perspective knowing another couple that has been there for over 10years. And while my rose colored glasses are definitely off in understanding that no where is perfect , there will always be something not ideal in any life that you choose, the positives that I know are coming from working and living in aramco are so overwhelming to be I cannot help but to be busting at my seams with excitement. This job and lifestyle have been something my husband and I have shared and worked towards since the day we meet. It is definitely a long process but all good things come to those that wait, right?
