Hi there,
We are currently at the offer stage and have been assigned ABQ. We have some questions regarding the schooling and transport to work:
1. Our kids have been in British curriculum schools and the only option we have is the DHS or BISK. How far commute is it by bus or car and is it safe in terms of bus safety and security? Are there a lot of families doing this from ABQ?
2. For UK kids moving to the SAS US system do they adapt well and what are the SAS schools like?
3. Is it best to get the bus to DH for work or car and typical travel time?
4. How long is the avee work day including travel to and from DH?
Thank you for any help!

Just to avoid any potential confusion, DHS is the American curriculum section of the ISG campus in Dhahran. The DBGS or Dhahran British Grammar School is the section that offers courses based on the English national curriculum. I can't really address your other questions about the commute for you and your kids directly from personal experience but this topic has a discussion about it (although, having just reviewed it, it does stray off-topic quite a bit): Dhahran to Abqaiq commute
