Hairdressers and beauty salons?

This may sound vain, but are there any hair and beauty salons on the RT compound or do you have to travel outside of the compound to have any treatments done? I have a lot of serious questions i want to ask to but this one just flashed through my mind while i was on here.

There is a hair salon on the compound and ladies who do hair in their homes. Or you may go outside the compound to have it done. Some people get their hair done while visiting Bahrain, some use the hair salon at Saad Medical Complex in Khobar to name a couple.

I have found someone who works out of her home on RT. Her name is Mary, send a PM and I'll give you info. I'm not sure what you are looking for but I think she is good. Some people have used the Ritz in Bahrain but its very expensive.

On this subject... also one of my less imporant questions, is there anywhere you can get your hair dyed on the RT complex? Also what are the prices like?

Could you bring a dye with you in your case perhaps?

I am a hairdresser here in the states and we are still waiting for my husbands offer to come in. I was wondering for those of you who do hair over there how difficult it is to get product and color. I guess I could always have it shipped. I would love to do hair when I/if I get there if nothing else because I love it but I am worried about getting proper color.

I have a friend who is a hairdresser and she was telling me how she was surprised by the hair color in the commissary. That in the states you'd have to have a license to buy those.

Also, you can get hair color in Bahrain. Or you can bring it with you.

Several ladies who are hairdressers come and set up a salon in their homes.
